Thursday, April 24 5-7 p.mDogfish Head Craft Brewery in historic Milton, Delaware Join other DBW participants for some fun and fellowship at a local favorite - the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in historic Milton, Delaware. Dogfish Head is renowned for its awardwinning specialty ales that offer both unique character and terrific taste. The brew master will open the taps for you to sample some of the latest selections. This event begins just after the Shore Bird Explorer trip returns to the Talbot Street Pier at 4 p.m. Free hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available to all DBW participants. Saturday, April 26 4-6 p.mDelmarva Discovery Center in Pocomoke City, Maryland After a full day of field trips, you can help add species to the master checklist that is kept for the Delmarva Birding Weekend. This event begins just after the Bay Queen trip returns to the Pocomoke City dock at 4 p.m. Get a behind-the-scenes peek at the new Delmarva Discovery Center on the Pocomoke River, scheduled to open in summer 2008. Nearby restaurants offer dinner options before heading out on your night trips. |
